new product range

The 1990’s were very exciting times for the company. Following a market research project, the company rebranded, changed its logo, and identified two sectors in which to compete.
The company’s first new product development launch followed a joint venture with Thomas Madden, a contract cleaner in the food processing industry, to service this sector. The new company was called Omerex ltd. Omerex was wound up and integrated back into Gannon Chemicals in the late 90’s. Gannon Chemicals still service the original Omerex customers.
The second new product range launched was into the Hospitality sector. This initiative necessitated the company’s investment in new equipment and training in the installation of electronic dosing equipment on industrial dishwashers etc. Over 20 years later, we still partner Brightwell Dispensers Ltd for this market segment and others we entered later. Based on a large volume of installations and a significant database of pump head and chemical compatibility, we

2000’s – Launch of Super G concentrates and move to new premises

Launch of Super G concentrates

Having survived Y2K Gannon again looked to new markets and began the new millennium by investing in new filling equipment to allow production and introduction of the Super G range of concentrates.
The most momentous event of the noughties for the company was the move from its old multiple locations to a single purpose built detergent manufacturing plant and warehouse. The plant is designed specifically to blend and fill detergent cleaning products, but also contains a large warehouse for raw materials and finished product.  As well as an administration block the plant also houses our applications and testing laboratory.
The first phase of product development in our new plant saw the launch of our range of Industrial laundry products. Designed and developed in-house the range consists of liquid detergents, alkaline boosters and de-staining agents. Being liquids the products are automatically dosed into our customers machines, and once again we partnered with Brightwell Dispensers Ltd to provide the necessary detergent pumps.
